Award-Winning Equipment & New Products at National Restaurant Association Show

Hobart Service Offers a Factory-Trained Service Network Dedicated to Commercial Food Equipment

TROY, OHIO – (May 10, 2019) – Restauranteurs, chefs and food industry professionals will have the chance to get a first-hand look at the latest in innovative and award-winning kitchen equipment from ITW Food Equipment Group brands when they visit one of the industry’s largest trade shows of the year this Spring.

More than 100 high performance and energy-efficient commercial kitchen products from ITW Food Equipment Group brands like Hobart, Baxter, Traulsen, Vulcan, Wolf, Berkel, Stero and Somat, will be on the floor of Chicago’s McCormick Center at booths #4031, #4237 and #4241 during the National Restaurant Association Show 2019. Visitors to ITW Food Equipment Group booths this year can see the latest in kitchen equipment advancements, including the industry’s most energy efficient flight-type washer, a one-of-a-kind oven, a heavy-duty cooking solution for small kitchens, and a new line of simple, affordable food preparation and dishwashing equipment.

This year, equipment from three of its brands, Baxter, Hobart and Vulcan, will be featured in the Kitchen Innovations Award booth at the National Restaurant Association Show, May 18-21:

  • The Hobart FT1000e Low Energy Series Dishwasher, a flight-type washer built for high volume operations is designed to reduce energy consumption and connected amp load requirements. It offers the industry’s lowest total cost of ownership, saving operators thousands of dollars in energy costs annually for greater lifetime value.
  • The self-cleaning Baxter BV400G VersaOven™ combines the best features of steamer, rotisserie, convection and combi ovens into one space-saving design.
  • The Vulcan Versatile Chef Station, a compact, heavy duty, multi-function cooking station allows chefs to maximize every inch of space while streamlining their workflow.

In addition to products featured at the Kitchen Innovations Award booth, ITW Food Equipment Group brands will be bringing their newest and most popular food equipment products to this year’s show, as well as information about Hobart Service, the only nationwide, factory-trained service network dedicated to commercial food equipment installation and maintenance.

New to this year’s show is the introduction of Centerline by Hobart, which will debut at the Hobart booth with the Centerline HMM20 Standard Heavy-Duty 20-Quart Mixer and the Centerline Undercounter Dishwasher. Hobart is also introducing its new line of HS Series portion scale slicers, which save retail foodservice operations time, resources and the need for separate pieces of slicing and weighing equipment. The HS6-1PS manual slicer and the HS7-1PS automatic slicer offer precise slicing and instant weighing to increase efficiency and help retail and foodservice establishments serve customers faster. Both models accurately weigh product up to 10 pounds in increments of 0.01 pounds or 0.1 ounces.

Traulsen, known for its 80-year history of manufacturing quality, high-performance commercial refrigeration products, will give show visitors a chance to check out R-Series refrigeration units featuring the new StayClear™ Condensers for reduced maintenance and the next generation Smart Control for ease of use. Trauslen will also feature popular equipment including its glycol prep table, best-in-class blast chillers, and ENERGY STAR® certified reach-in and compact refrigerators.

Industry favorite products will also be on display from Baxter, the brand recognized for superior baking and cooking equipment. The recently introduced VersaOven™, which combines the best features of rotisserie, steam, convection and combi cooking into one space-saving design in addition to an impressive self-cleaning capability, will be a “must see” at this year’s show. For the first time, Baxter will also be introducing its new BC100E five-pan electric convection oven with a self-contained steam system.

Vulcan, the brand chefs and operators look to for top-quality, energy efficient cooking products, will feature several new products and technologies. Along with the Versatile Chef Station, Vulcan will feature its EO Boilerless Countertop Steamer with new auto-fill capability, built to withstand the heat of any kitchen and decrease total cost of ownership. Vulcan will also be showcasing its EnduranceTM Range with refrigerated drawers and its ABC7P Combi Oven with temperature probe.
